Where our commitment to service challenges, motivates and empowers us
to create extraordinary moments for our guests. The Red Mountain Training Program is designed for the continual improvement
and development of our team. There are three levels of study
within the Red Earth Academy; The Dragonfly; The Antelope;
and The Eagle's Quest. The Dragonfly: The dragonfly symbol represents a refinement of skills, the need for a change and is relentless in its pursuit. As a team member finishes the first degree, they are one who is dedicated to begin the process of learning and is ready for the challenge that lies ahead. Each team member is expected to complete this level of training within 90 days of employment. The Antelope: A symbol of knowledgeable action, speed, rapid growth and grace. The team member who accomplishes this second level of learning is one who knows how to treat every guest in every situation; in quick response to their needs and wants. They are graceful toward each of our guests as well as toward their fellow team members. Each team member is expected to complete this level of training within 12 months of employment. The Eagle's Quest: The eagle is a symbol of clarity of vision,
transcendence and messengers. A team member who has accomplished
this highest degree of learning is one who is dedicated to
Red Mountain, our guests and our culture. They are the ones
who can see the big picture, have risen to a level of extraordinary
service and are an example for others to follow. This level
of learning is voluntary and may be completed after the team
member has achieved the level of Antelope. Team members are awarded for their efforts through our recognition program. The Kokopelli of the Month Award, Kokopelli Kouncil, Roadrunner Adventure Program, just to name a few, are additional ways for our team members to excel in the Academy.
