St. George Area
Local Attractions and Recreation Guide:

Southern Utah has become known as “Utah's Dixie” since its abundant sunshine and moderate temperatures have proven effective for cultivating traditional southern crops.

The most noteworthy local attractions are centered around the beautiful, natural scenery that is the backdrop for our outdoor recreational activities. At the heart of our program is the hiking offered in breathtaking Snow Canyon State Park, whose entrance lies at the boundaries of the Spa. The canyon provides myriad opportunities for hiking and biking, and its proximity allows for daily enjoyment of this amazing landmark.

Perhaps the most famous of our attractions are the National Parks that surround our Spa. Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park and North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park are each very unique and simply awesome. Visits to these parks, especially when experienced through hikes into the many and diverse trails, are spiritually renewing and physically revitalizing. Pictures cannot capture what a personal experience to these majestic wonders will provide (although you will still want to take many of your own…).
